I particularly liked central location, cleanliness, classic interior that is well-cared, good noise isolation, and particularly nice staff that cares about guest’s needs. The bed was super, and that matters a lot when you are on the go for a short stay.

We stayed at the hotel for 9 days. During our stay, the hotel staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. The room was large and the bed was very comfrotable. We had a king bed and it was great. Only thing I would change is the pillows could be more comfortable, but that is based on my individual preference for down pillows. The breakfast was excellent. There were so many choices for everyone, no matter where you traveled from they tried to put a little of something out for all. Excellent. I would highly recommend staying at the "Monika Centrum Hotel". The area is also beautiful and safe. Most of the embassies are located on the same block. It was also close to the tram, buses etc. There is also a beautiful park across the street, so very beautiful and safe. It has a canal that runs through it where you can take a canal ride through the park out to the river around old town. The city of Riga is so beautiful and clean. My husband speaks Latvian, but I do not but everyone speaks english. I would highly recommend downloading the "Bolt" app which is similar to Uber in the US but better. We used Bolt at night when getting around the city. They are inexpensive compared to Uber in the US. There are also "Navessan convernience stores on every corner where you can purchase your tram, train and bus tickets along with food and drink etc. There are also plenty of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. If you like goumet italian, there's a resataurant called "Portofino's" a block or two down the street. Absolutely delicious, best italian I have ever had. The food is all fresh and the fish is very fresh. The last thing I recommend is getting on the #11 tram to the Marketplace. It's the largest in all of Europe, so much so you need a full day to get through the whole place.

I really liked this hotel. Terrific location, maybe 15 minutes walk from Old Town and takes you through a beautiful green park space directly opposite the hotel. My partner and I both quite liked the double room we were staying in. Nice decor, spacious room, big comfortable bed and clean facilities. It's also a short enough commute to the airport. We took a bolt ride that took 15 minutes and cost around 12 euro I think. Very conveniently located, affordable price and nice building with a solid continental breakfast buffet included in the booking. Would recommend 👍

Beds were amazing. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic.. the bread was very fresh. Cleaners were friendly and happy to help with any problems with the room. Everyone we chatted to at reception was helpful and courteous and very polite. Had the romantic supplement and was amazing. Highly recommended for couples.. also had the taxi transfer to the airport and was early. Centrally located.. all in all great hotel.. fantastic service and very welcoming.
